How can I make a reservation?

Reservations are accepted by phone, mail or e-mail. Please see our Reservations Page on this site. The required deposit can be sent in by check between November 1st and April 15th. If you reserve and are sending us a check, we need to receive your check within 7 days of the date you make your reservation. So don't forget, because the computer will cancel after the 7 days. You can also secure your deposit by Debit Card, MasterCard or Visa.

Can we pay by check upon arrival?

Sorry, we accept only cash, MasterCard, Visa, Travelers Checks or Wild Acre's Gift Certificates. No personal checks upon arrival.

What are the Check-In and Check-Out times?

Check-out time is 11am. Check-in on sites is any time after 1pm and the rental units are any time after 3pm.

What is the cancellation policy?

All cancellations and/or changes require a 21 day notice. With proper notification a refund of your deposit will be issued, less a $50 service charge.

Are you close to the beach?

Wild Acres is the closest campground to the Ocean in Old Orchard Beach. We have a rear exit with a parking area that is 2/10's mile to the ocean. This access is located on the top left of the site map. Parking is available to our registered guests with proper car tags only.

Do you allow bicycles and scooters?

Yes, we do. All bicycles and scooters require a tag to be ridden in the campground. Tags are obtained upon check-in at the main office. This tag will include your name, site number and check-out date. Inappropriate behavior observed by any staff member will result in loss of tag.

Do you allow 4-WHEELERS, DIRT BIKES, GOLF CARS, GOPEDS, MINI-MOTORCYCLES of any Kind, SKATEBOARDS & GO CARTS?

Sorry, these are not permitted to operate in the park.

Do you allow motorcycles?

We do, but we ask that you walk them in between the quiet hours of 11pm-8am.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we do allow pets on all sites EXCEPT RENTALS and TENT/NO-HOOK-UP SITES. A pet policy must be signed upon registration, and can be found under our Rules section on this site. Pit bulls or any aggressive dogs are not welcome.

Are pets allowed on the beach?

Pets are allowed on the public beach before 9AM and after 5PM ONLY from Memorial Weekend -Labor Day. No pets are allowed on the beach when lifeguards are on duty from 9AM-5PM.

Are your pools heated and do you have lifeguards?

We have 3 pools and one of them is heated. No lifeguards are provided. Pool use is strictly at your own risk. Pool hours are 10AM - 10PM. Pool rules are clearly posted and enforced. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times to and in the pool area.

Do you have a trolley to downtown OOB?

The Trolley stops at several campgrounds as well as the Clambake Restaurant and downtown OOB. Hours: 10AM - 12AM. Fee: $1 per person each way (Ages 5 & under- free). The Trolley stop is located next to the main pools in the front of park. No pets are allowed on the Trolley. Service is approximately every 1/2 hour on the weekends and every hour during the week. The Trolley operates the last week of June until Labor Day. Service is also available Memorial Weekend.

Do you allow visitors?

Yes. Please inform your guests prior to arrival that there is a visitor fee. Non campers are sometimes unaware of this policy. All visitors must register at the main office before entering the campground. Anyone over the age of 3 is subject to a fee. Sorry, no pets allowed with visitors. Day visitors must depart by 9PM. Overnight visitors must depart by 11AM the following morning. Guests are the responsibility of the registered camper or rental unit occupants. We do not allow overnight guests in the rental units.

Can another family set up a tent or pop-up on our site?

Sure, if the site is large enough and doesn't crowd your neighbor. We always recommend that they get their own site since our rates are based on 2 people, one sleeping unit and one vehicle. Your other family will have to pay a separate site fee regardless, so there is no cost advantage to sharing yours.

Can we set up a tent for our children?

Absolutely, and there is no charge if they are your dependent children. Dependent children are under 21, unmarried and living at home.

You are a family camping resort, do you cater to singles?

We are a family camping resort and we cater to couples and families. Sorry, no groups of singles are accepted in order to provide our customers with a quiet and peaceful vacation.

Are we allowed to have a campfire?

Absolutely! Every site has a fire pot. We ask that you keep the fire pot off the grass and attended at all times. There are no group fires after 11pm for consideration of our quiet hours of 11pm-8am.

Do you guarantee requested sites?

Our requests are at a success rate of about 98%! There are rare occasions when something happens out of our control and it's necessary for us to move you. We hope that you understand we do our very best!

Are there fees for recreation?

All recreation in the park is free of charge except for pedal karts and Mini-Golf. We do require a $10.00 DEPOSIT for our game equipment but that will be refunded upon returning the equipment.

Do you offer internet connection?

Free WiFi Hotpsots at Pavillion and Laundry.
